The story

One Night a Year

One night a year, Winterhollow gathers.

The bells are ringing, the square is filling up, and every family in town is crowding around the tree. Tonight the lantern is lit, and the lantern runs on wishes.

This year, it's one short.

Pip Frostwhistle, toymaker and Wishkeeper, has dashed off into the lanes to sort it out. In all the hurry, he left the shop door unlocked.

Curious things happen in a toymaker's shop when no one's minding it.

Let yourselves in. Look closely. Winterhollow is counting on you.
