We opened Escape Room Co. inside the historic Main Street Theater — and made it a personal mission to preserve pieces of the space that came before us. Our own journey began long before that: years of ideas scribbled on napkins, late-night brainstorms fueled by coffee and wonder, and countless miles traveled to experience the best escape rooms the world had to offer. When you walk through our doors, you aren't just playing a game — you're stepping into a story we started a long time ago, and that continues with you inside it.

Tyler Wonders
Tyler is the heart and hands behind the magic. After eleven years as an award-winning high school English teacher and theatre director, he made the leap to chase a new passion — creating immersive worlds where everyone could step into the story themselves. Today he designs the rooms, engineers the mechanics, runs daily operations, and leads the team. His vision turns walls into worlds, locks into mysteries, and simple objects into keys to the extraordinary.

Jim Daly
Jim is the mind behind the momentum. He blends a love for escape rooms with deep expertise in business and marketing, keeping the operation running smoothly and the brand sharp. His strategic instincts and understanding of the player experience have shaped Escape Room Co. into something both personal and spectacular. He also brings a creative eye to design sessions, offering clever solutions when puzzles or layouts need a fresh perspective.

Bill Pizzichil
Bill is our lead fabricator of puzzle elements and a room designer. A seasoned executive, he brings professional discipline and thoughtful expertise to every project — from the engineering of the puzzle mechanics to the structure of the experiences themselves. Our rooms carry his fingerprints in every detail: the textures, the props, the lighting, the small moments that catch your eye when you first step inside. That's Bill.
Honoring the Building
The Main Street Theater has stood in Ephrata for generations — a place where stories were told long before we came along. When we took this space, we knew it deserved more than a coat of paint and a new sign over the door.
Where we could, we preserved what came before. The marquee. The architectural details. The pieces of the building that hold its memory. They live alongside the new worlds we've built inside — because every great expedition begins in a place with a history of its own.

How Our Story Became Yours
It started in 2021. Three friends, fueled by a shared passion for adventure and discovery, set out to build an escape room unlike any other — a place where players wouldn't just solve puzzles, but live inside the worlds we built.
From that first spark, the journey unfolded across years of exploration. We traveled the country, seeking out escape rooms not just to play, but to learn. Every free moment became a brainstorming session. Every long drive became a design meeting. Late nights turned into marathon concept sessions where wild ideas were shaped into blueprints.
We visited historic buildings, museums, and immersive theaters — studying textures, lighting tricks, and hidden architectural details. The feeling of an old doorknob. The echo of footsteps in a vaulted hall. The way light bends through an ancient window. We catalogued all of it.
